Avery Stansell of Rhodes College and Hannah Nall of Lee University win their divisions at the CC of Oxford
Avery Stansell of Rhodes College and Hannah Nall of Lee University won their respective divisions at the Oxford Amateur, conducted by College Tour X at the Country Club of Oxford (Miss.).
Stansell, from Homewood, Ala., had an eight-shot lead heading into the final round but had to withstand a challenge from Park Mitas of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. In the end, a 76 was good enough for a two-shot victory at 2-under 214.
Nall (Cleveland, Tenn.) continued her form that saw her earn College Tour X player-of-the-year honors, playing steady golf and winning with a 231 total.
