SOMIS, CA (November 27, 2017) - Torey Edwards emerged victorious in the 43rd Southern California (SCGA) Tournament of Club Champions at Saticoy Country Club.
Edwards ran away from the pack, earning a three-shot victory over Saticoy Country Club member and 2015 SCGA Player of the Year Nathan Celusta.
Edwards had a roller coaster ride of a round. After an opening birdie, Edwards bogeyed holes No. 2-4 before bouncing right back with birdies on No. 5 and 6. He found low tide on the back nine, as Edwards parred out, except for a single bogey on the par-5 14th while coasting to victory.
Celusta finished second at 4-over while Cody Hall (Bear Creek GC) and Lou Noriega, Jr. (Chula Vista GC) tied for third place at 6-over.
