Once more Team U.S.A. is back and looking to retain the Eisenhower Trophy, after winning the biennial event in 2012 and 2014. The American's are hoping to win the World Amateur Team Championship for a third consecutive time for the second time. They previously won three-straight titles in 2000, 2002 and 2004.
The 2014 team was made up of Bryson DeChambeau, Beau Hossler and Denny McCarthy.
This years American side will be made up of Stanford senior Maverick McNealy, Oklahoma sophomore Brad Dalke and Texas junior Scottie Scheffler.McNealy, the 2016 McCormack Medal Winner, has been the Pac-12 Player of the Year each of the last two years and is also a first team All-American. Dalke recently finished as the runner-up at the U.S. Mid-Amateur, while Scheffler is coming off a summer that saw him play in the U.S. Open, where he was a part of the first round leaderboard. Scheffler won the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur.
This years World Amateur Team Championship will include 17 of the top-25 players in the World Amateur Golf Rankings:

The quartet includes Armenia, Haiti, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
