Dave Hanson wins the Gerry Ashe Memorial in Syracuse, N.Y. by four strokes.
OSWEGO, N.Y. (June 23, 2013) — Dave Hanson overcame a double-bogey on his opening hole to fire a two-under par 69 and win the Gerry Ashe Memorial at Oswego Country Club.
Hanson also made triple-bogey on that same hole — the par-five first at Oswego — on Friday but managed to shoot 75 that day, going one-over his next 17 holes.
Hanson finished the 54-hole event five-over par, winning the championship by four shots over Chris Schmidt.
About the Gerry Ashe Memorial

54-hole stroke play event with a cut to the low 60 players and ties after 18 holes and a cut to the low 40 players and ties after 36 holes. Must be a SDGA member.
