Vokey WedgeWorks Releases Limited-Edition 64 T Grind Lob Wedge

A new 64° T Grind from Vokey WedgeWorks delivers tour-proven versatility in a high-loft, low-bounce package.

The new 64-degree T Grind brings tour-proven versatility to a high-lofted, shot-stopping design available exclusively through WedgeWorks.

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2025) – Vokey WedgeWorks has unveiled the limited-edition 64 T Grind, a purpose-built lob wedge engineered for golfers who demand maximum height, spin, and creativity around the green. Pairing Vokey’s highest loft offering with the ultra-versatile T Grind, the new release provides a rare—and highly specialized—tool for navigating firm turf, elevated greens, and the most daunting short-sided scenarios.

Available only through WedgeWorks, the 64 T Grind debuts in a premium Black Vapor finish and delivers the lowest bounce profile (4 degrees) of any Vokey lob wedge. For skilled players, the design promotes a combination of shot-stopping height and tight-area precision that is difficult to find in standard retail offerings.

A High-Lofted Wedge Built for Precision

The 64 T Grind is targeted toward players who want to launch the ball higher with ease, whether they’re facing a short-sided bunker shot, a tight lie to a firm green, or a steeper-than-usual carry to a tucked flag.

For players comfortable taking fuller swings with lofted wedges, the 64T also offers a controlled, aggressive option from 40–60 yards—an area of the game where too much bounce can work against scoring consistency.

Why the T Grind Stands Out

Among all the grinds in the Vokey SM10 lineup, the T Grind is the lowest-bounce option. Its defining characteristics—a narrow sole paired with aggressive heel, toe, and trailing-edge relief—allow the leading edge to sit close to the ground, even when the face is opened.

This sole geometry benefits players with a shallow delivery, along with those who frequently play on firm to tightly cut conditions. It encourages versatility, creativity, and a clean entry through the turf.

“The ‘T’ is a very versatile sole,” said Vokey Wedge Rep Aaron Dill. “It frees the golfer up to get under the ball easily when the turf feels firm or when they are short-sided. The last thing a player wants in those situations is a grind that doesn’t help them pull off difficult shots that require lots of loft and commitment.”

The T Grind has gained significant traction on the PGA TOUR, where players like Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Russell Henley, and the 2024 Champion Golfer of the Year trust it in a 60-degree configuration. The 64-degree limited-edition model now gives skilled amateurs and wedge enthusiasts a tour-inspired option with even greater loft.

Durable Black Vapor Finish

A defining aesthetic and performance touch of the limited release is its Black Vapor finish, created through a PVD treatment for enhanced durability. The finish receives an additional FPP coating, giving the clubhead a smudge-resistant, low-glare appearance preferred by many tour players.
