Callaway Announces BRAND NEW Quantum Mini Spinner

Callaway Quantum Mini Spinner brings more control to the top of the bag.

Callaway is expanding its Quantum lineup with the new Quantum Mini Spinner, a compact fairway wood designed for golfers who need more spin, control and confidence from the top end of the bag.

Available in 7-, 9- and 11-wood models, the Mini Spinner is built to bridge the gap between traditional fairway woods and long irons. Its combination of a shorter playing length, deeper face and high-spin construction is intended to produce more predictable approach shots that can land softly and hold the green.

That could make the Mini Spinner particularly appealing to golfers who struggle to generate enough height or stopping power with lower-lofted fairway woods, hybrids or long irons.

Built to produce more spin

At the center of the design is Callaway’s Optimized Spin Construction, which pairs a higher center of gravity with an Ai-optimized, high-spin face design.

While many fairway woods are engineered to reduce spin and maximize distance, the Mini Spinner takes a different approach. Callaway designed the club to create additional spin, tighter dispersion and greater stopping power on shots into the green.

Rather than serving primarily as a distance club, the Mini Spinner is intended to give golfers another controlled approach option from longer yardages.

Shorter length for greater control

The Mini Spinner is built 0.75 inches shorter than a traditional fairway wood.

The more compact setup is designed to make the club easier to control through impact, helping golfers produce more consistent contact and tighter shot patterns. The shorter length may also give players greater confidence when attacking greens from difficult lies or narrower landing areas.

A deeper, more versatile face

Callaway gave the Mini Spinner a taller face profile, creating more usable hitting area across the clubface.

The deeper design is intended to improve confidence at address while providing additional versatility from a variety of lies. It could be especially useful from the rough, where contact higher or lower on the face is more common.

The compact, deep profile also gives the Mini Spinner a shape that sits between a traditional fairway wood and a more iron-like approach club.

Step Sole promotes cleaner contact

A refined Step Sole Design helps minimize the amount of the clubhead that interacts with the ground.

By reducing turf interaction, the sole is designed to move more cleanly through the hitting area and improve the likelihood of center-face contact. That should benefit golfers using the Mini Spinner from the fairway, rough or other uneven lies.

Carbon construction in the 7- and 9-woods

The 7- and 9-wood models feature a lightweight carbon sole construction.

Saving weight in the sole allows Callaway to reposition mass higher within the clubhead, raising the center of gravity and generating additional spin. The result is designed to be greater control and more stopping power on longer approach shots.

Who should try the Quantum Mini Spinner?

The Mini Spinner is designed for golfers who want an alternative to a traditional fairway wood, hybrid or long iron at the top of the bag.

It may be a strong option for players who:

  • Struggle to hold greens from longer distances

  • Need more height and spin from the top of the bag

  • Prefer the look and forgiveness of a fairway wood

  • Want more control than a standard fairway wood provides

  • Regularly hit longer approach shots from the rough

With loft options extending through an 11-wood, golfers can also use the Mini Spinner to create a more customized setup based on their preferred launch, distance gaps and approach-shot needs.
