Mizuno Unveils New JPX-850 Hybrid

Mizuno's JPX-850 hybrids are distance-generating clubs that were designed with valuable feedback from its Tour staff

Feedback on any product is important and can be quite valuable in developing improvements for the future. Mizuno took this idea into account when they were looking to create their next hybrid club and asked for feedback from its Tour staff. Those comments made it to the designers' desks and contributed to the new JPX-850 Hybrid.

The Mizuno JPX-850 Hybrid is the beginning of a new generation of distance-generating hybrids. The JPX-850 Hybrid features Mizuno's Shock Wave sole, an accordion-like design allowing the entire club head to contract and expand upon impact. The result is more energy from the swing to the ball equalling increased distance. The clubhead's lower center of gravity should make it easier for players to launch directly from the turf.

The JPX-850 Hybrid is available in four different lofts including; 16, 19, 22, and 25 degrees. The hybrid is available in a 2, 3, 4 and 5 club. The face of the club is square on all of the clubs with the exception of the 2 club which is slightly open. Standard and custom shafts are available as well as a variety of custom grips.

Now available, the hybrids are priced at $199.99 per club.
