Cobra's Fly-Z and Fly-Z XL irons use Speed Channel technology to blend distance with feel while offering consistency and forgiveness
"The Fly-Z family of irons are designed to provide performance for golfers of all levels by addressing a wide span of performance needs", says Jose Miraflor, Director of Product Marketing at Cobra Golf. "Our two game-changing irons, the Fly-Z and Fly-ZXL irons were designed to blend distance with feel while offering forgiveness and consistency."
Cobra looked towards its Fly-Z metalwoods for inspiration and gives these irons Speed Channel technology. This is a visible trench positioned on the cavity behind the club face and on the sole of the irons. It's one of the deepest undercut cavities Cobra has offered and is paired with a harmonic cavity insert to allow for more feel.

The harmonic cavity insert includes an engineered Thermoplastic Urethane insert positioned directly behind the impact zone for decreased vibration and a better feel at impact. Zone Weighting Technology refers to the heel and toe weighting design which is another characteristic of these irons.
The Fly-Z XL Irons are also part of this family and are designed to give players confidence at address and decent distance through higher trajectories. The dual hollow cavity design allows for a deeper, lower center of gravity. The hollow construction, thinner face and Speed Channel all combine to increase ball speed.

The Fly-Z and Fly-Z XL irons are available in five colors including black, white, blue, red and orange.
