Titleist's TSi2, TSi3 drivers utilize new aerospace titanium face

Titleist has released the next generation of TS drivers, with the TSi2 and TSi3 designed with aerodynamics in mind as their quest for finding even more speed and distance continues.
The TS2 and TS3 models were released two years ago, and in that time Titleist figured out a way to reduce drag while increasing stability.
Take the TSi2. It produces 15% less drag on the downswing than the TS2, meaning the same swing should have less air resistance and therefore more speed.
The face of the TSi2 is designed to amplify that increased speed. Titleist claims to be the only company using a particular titanium alloy (ATI 425) that is known for its ability to bend more without breaking and until now has only been used in ballistic armor applications and the aerospace industry, including jet engines and NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander.
Perhaps echoing the theme, Justin Thomas has said that the “TSi just looks fast and it sounds like a missile coming off the face.”
The more speed a player generates, the more likely he/she may be to slightly miss the dead center of the face. So Titleist moved more weight to the back of the club head to increase stability, while promoting a higher launch angle.
The all-titanium, 460-cc TSi2 is available in 9, 10 and 11 degrees, with an adjustable hosel that will allow the player to change the loft by up to 2 degrees either way.
The TSi3 has moveable weights which will allow further customization based on the desired ball flight.
The TSi was introduced to the PGA and European Tours in mid-September, and quickly became the most-played driver on either tour.
There are currently 20 players in the Official World Golf Rankings Top 100 carrying a new TSi model, including four in the OWGR’s Top 20, including Thomas (TSi3) and Adam Scott (TSi3).
Among the Titleist players transitioning into the new TSi2 are Cameron Davis, Tyler Duncan, Lanto Griffin, Chesson Hadley, Brian Harman, Tom Hoge, Mark Hubbard and C.T. Pan. Those choosing to play the new TSi3 include: Ben An, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Lucas Bjerregaard, Bud Cauley, Charley Hoffman, Max Homa, Charles Howell III, Patton Kizzire, Peter Malnati, J.T. Poston, Ian Poulter, Robby Shelton, Cameron Smith, Scott Stallings, Jordan Spieth, Jimmy Walker, Bernd Wiesberger and Will Zalatoris.
The Titleist TSi2 and TSi3 drivers are available to everyone else starting November 12, at a price of $549 with the choice of Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black, Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW Blue or White, or Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX shafts.
