As an Elite Amateur Golf Series event with deep historical prestige, the North & South delivers a unique format test: two strokes-gained qualifying rounds followed by a five-match gauntlet on one of amateur golf's most demanding stages. Seeds 20–32 routinely upset top qualifiers, rewarding patient scrambling and mental toughness over pure ball-striking.
