Bloomington Normal Medal Play Championship
Individual stroke play format. 18 hole qualifying round of stroke play determines flights. The top 32 qualifying individuals plus ties make up the Championship Flight. Subsequent flights contain a minimum 16 individuals including ties. A second and final round is played the following day for all flights to determine the finish within all flights but the championship flight. The Championship flight is cut to an exact 18 players based on 36 holes scores and using hole 18 on back as the tie breaker. These 18 players then play an additional 18 holes for a total of 54 to determine the City Medal Play Champion.
