About the tournament
The Shootout at PGA WEST is an annual, three-
day,
two-person, best ball
tournament held at La Quinta Resort & Club
and PGA
WEST.
Based on 55 teams, there will be five divisions. The first division plays from the championship tees and is a gross competition. The other four divisions play net competition.
There will be a couples division if there are enough teams. If there are not enough teams for a couples division, the ladies handicap is adjusted to a point where the two become a competitive team in one of the men’s divisions.
There will be unlimited replay of the tournament courses after each round.
The Shootout at PGA West will also serve as a national qualifier for the USGC King's Cup National Championship.
