About the tournament
The Veteran Golfers Association is committed to promoting the game of golf to veterans and their family members. The VGA Championship is the organization's national 36-hole stroke play competition for VGA members who have made it through one of four regional qualifiers. Players divided are into four men's flights (A,B, C and D) and one women's flight (F) based on skill-level.
Tournament Facts
Entry to the VGA Championship (the VGA's national 36-hole stroke-play event at Olympia Fields CC) is limited to Veteran Golfers Association members who have advanced through one of four regional VGA qualifiers; players compete in flights based on their VGA/USGA handicap index.
