Stoddard Trophy Matches

The Stoddard Trophy Matches bring together elite amateurs from the New Jersey State Golf Association, Long Island Golf Association, and Westchester Golf Association in one of the Metropolitan area’s longest-running team golf traditions. Contested annually since 1922, the Ryder Cup-style triangular match features six alternate-shot foursome matches in the morning followed by 12 singles matches in the afternoon. With regional pride on the line, the event has remained a showcase of top amateur talent and association-team competition for more than a century.
