Oregon Coast Invitational
The Oregon Coast Invitational Match Play Championship is over 100 years old and claims to be the oldest Amateur golf event west of the Rockies. Invitations sent out in the spring; contact the club to request an invite. Event played on a links-style course built in 1924 with small fast greens, wind and sunny weather. Format is two rounds of stroke play qualifying followed by a match play bracket. Divisions are as follows: Grand Championship (men 18 and older), Junior- Senior Championship (men 45 and older), Senior Championship (men 55 and older), Super- Senior Championship (men 65 and older), and Women Championship (Women 18 and older). Cut to match play depends on the number of players in each flight.
