Bell National Series - Colonial Girls Classic

The Colonial Classic is a staple event on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT) National Series, bringing together many of the top-ranked junior girls from across the East Coast. Hosted at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia, the tournament features competition in both the Bell National and Futures National divisions. Players in the Bell National field take on the Jamestown Course, a par-72 layout known for its strategic bunkering and classic shot values that test precision and course management.

As part of the PKBGT National Series, the Colonial Classic serves as a qualifier for the PKBGT Invitational, with top finishers also earning invitations to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions. The event carries ranking implications across Junior Golf Scoreboard, TUGR, and AJGA Performance Based Entry, providing a valuable opportunity for players to strengthen their national standing. The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT), an initiative of the non-profit Girls Golf of America, is the nation’s only LPGA Foundation Approved girls-only tour. Dedicated to growing participation and opportunity in junior girls golf, the PKBGT provides a structured Progression Pathway that allows players to develop at their own pace through yardage-based divisions rather than age-based groupings. The tour hosts more than 110 events annually across national and regional circuits, offering affordable, high-quality competition for girls ages 9–19. With over 1,400 alumnae advancing to collegiate programs and many competing on the LPGA and Epson Tours, the PKBGT continues to set the standard for player development, exposure, and community in junior girls golf.
