About the tournament
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), established in 1909, has evolved into a premier NCAA Division II conference with deep roots in the Rocky Mountain region. Renowned for its excellence in athletics, RMAC schools have produced 62 national champions and 52 runners-up since joining the NCAA. Golf plays a significant role, with the conference fostering competitive teams and standout individual performances in both men's and women's golf. The RMAC promotes a tradition of athletic and academic excellence, maintaining a strong focus on regional and national competitiveness. Today, it supports 22 varsity sports across 16 full-member institutions, continuing its legacy as a leader in collegiate athletics.
