One of the most beautiful attributes of McArthur Golf Club is its setting. A 500-acre property, located in Hobe Sound, Florida, McArthur Golf Club is a wonderfully crafted golfer’s paradise set amidst a slice of Old Florida. The property, owned by Nancy McArthur Davis of McArthur Dairy fame, is one of the last pristine lands in burgeoning South Florida area. In 2000, Mrs. Davis decided to build golf course club that would have a very select membership, offer the finest golf and the ultimate in seclusion and privacy. The goal was to create a golf club of classic simplicity and understated beauty. To carry out this vision, two legends in golf were asked to join together for the first time, each bringing with them unique insights into golf course design. Tom Fazio, known for his environmentally sensitive and always interesting golf courses and Nick Price, who brought his keen professional golfer’s eye to the sugar sand property nestled away from the world in Hobe Sound.
