Which championships are included?
The atlas brings together individual state amateur championships for men, women, senior men and senior women. Separate state match-play and stroke-play titles can both appear. New Mexico’s Sun Country championships also serve West Texas and are identified as regional titles. Other regional, junior, mid-amateur and team events are outside this edition. States are assigned by the championship’s jurisdiction, even when the host course is across a border.
How are champions recognized?
Winners come from AmateurGolf.com’s rankings archive, published reporting and official association reports. A qualifying medalist, an unresolved tie, or a missing result is not treated as a champion. Counts represent titles, so a player who wins twice can appear twice. Some state and division records are still being compiled.
