VIDEO: Former President George W. Bush at the Walker Cup

The USA Team practiced at Los Angeles CC Thursday, and former President George W. Bush joined the action

LOS ANGELES, California (September 7, 2017) -- If you know the history of The Walker Cup, then you know that the cup is named in honor of George Herbert Walker who was president of the USGA in 1920 when the match was initiated. Walker is the grandfather and namesake of George H. W. Bush and great-grandfather of George W. Bush, the 41st and 43rd Presidents of the United States, respectively. Both Presidents have attended the matches and ceremonies. This year "43" kicked off the week by joining in the Thursday practice round action. Check it out below.
