Hogarth Cruises to Pasadena City Senior Title at Brookside

The most decorated name in Pasadena City history adds another Senior crown, going wire-to-wire to a 9-under 205 and a six-shot win at Brookside.

PASADENA, Calif. — For most players, losing a four-shot advantage heading into the final round with a disappointing 80 in your association's Senior Amateur might shake their confidence, or make them want to take a break from competition. (That's what happened to Tim Hogarth last week at Hacienda, after opening with a pair of 66's on the classic layout.)

Tim Hogarth is not one of those players. And at Pasadena's Brookside Golf Club, with 36-holes in the shadows of Rose Bowl Stadium, some things don't change.
