Facing off for the title on Sunday morning will be Mickey Plyler and Raymond Wooten versus one half of last year’s Champs, Bryce Howell and Connor Bruns.
In the quarterfinal matches Clemson residents, Plyler and Wooten, needed three extra holes to advance beating the 32 seed of Jeremy Revis and Duane Barnes with a par on the par five 3rd hole.
Furman University golfers, Bruns and Howell, needed a 30 foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to advance over Chris Mitchell and Matt Laydon 1 up.
In the semifinal matches, it was Bruns and Howell who needed extra holes coming back from a three down deficit to win 1 up after 21 holes over Jamie Lightsey and Tyler Tucker.
The Plyler-Wooten team needed all 18 holes to win with a par on the last hole over Cody Clepper and Peyton Shore who had fought back from two down earlier in the match.
