Sara Brentcheneff of France wins Swiss Ladies Championship

Brentchenoff won by five shots at 11-under and secured the championship with a final round 6-under 66.

Sara Brentcheneff of Lyon, France, shot 70-69-66 to win by five strokes at the Women’s Swiss International Golf Championship played at Golf Club du Domaine Impérial in Gland, Switzerland.

Brentcheneff dominated the competition with a total score of 11-under 205, leaving Ariane Klotz in second place with a score of 6-under 210 after rounds of 73-65-72.

This year, Brentcheneff has competed in 15 events, clinching victory three times while also securing three additional top-10 finishes to her credit.

Emma Leroy Fabry, another talented golfer from France, initially led the tournament with a stellar opening round of 6-under 66.

However, a second-round 77, followed by a final day score of 73, resulted in her finishing in solo-fourth place, 11 strokes behind the victorious Brentcheneff, with an even-par total of 216.

The tournament saw the participation of 39 women amateurs hailing from more than 4 European countries.
