Richmond didn’t just defend its title—it controlled the Atlantic 10 Women’s Golf Championship from start to finish.
The Spiders closed at 51-over 915, punctuated by a tournament-best 305 in the final round at Evermore Orlando Resort. It marks back-to-back A-10 titles for Richmond, which has now won both championships since the conference introduced women’s golf in 2025, and secures another trip to NCAA Regionals.
At the center of it all was junior Maya Beasley, who delivered a steady, composed performance to claim medalist honors at 5-over 221 (73-72-76). Her week featured seven birdies across six holes, including four in a second-round 72—the lowest round of the tournament. She didn’t run away early, but she never let the lead slip once she found it.
What separated Richmond, though, was depth. All five players finished inside the top five—a rare and emphatic statement in a conference championship. Senior Olivia Wilkie finished third (231), while last year’s individual champion Hannah Lydic was close behind in fourth (232). Sophomore Katie Magner and freshman Addie Doroh tied for fifth at 234, with Doroh also sharing Most Outstanding Rookie honors.
Behind them, Loyola Chicago (+79) and Dayton (+88) battled for the remaining podium spots, but Richmond was never seriously threatened.
This wasn’t just a win—it was a program asserting itself early in the life of the conference.
