The USGA has announced qualifying sites for the 3rd U.S. Adaptive Open Championship to be held at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan., from July 8-10.
Conducted over 18 holes, qualifying will take place at six sites across the United States between April 15 and May 31.
Created in fulfillment of a commitment made by the USGA in 2017 to create a championship for the adaptive golf community, the U.S. Adaptive Open Championship now stands as the association's latest addition, marking its 15th national championship.
This inclusive event welcomes both male and female professional and amateur golfers, requiring a Handicap Index of 36.4 or less and a verified eligible impairment confirmed by a WR4GD Pass.
