GUADALAJARA, Mexico — The 100º Campeonato Nacional de Aficionadas, also known as the Mexican Women’s Amateur Championship, has concluded at Guadalajara Country Club after four demanding rounds of championship golf.
The event was contested as a 72-hole stroke play championship from January 6–9, with a maximum handicap index of 5.4. After the final round, Clarisa Temelo claimed the title at +2, edging Vania Alicia Simont by one shot.

Temelo closed with a steady 71 to finish at 290, holding off Simont’s 291 and Regina Roldán Arista’s 292 at the top of a tightly packed leaderboard.
