CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invitational Tees Off at Shadowridge Country Club

A deep NCAA Division II field opens spring play today at Shadowridge Country Club in the CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invitational.

The CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invitational gets underway today at Shadowridge Country Club in Vista, California, as a competitive NCAA Division II field opens the spring portion of the season.

Hosted by Cal State San Marcos and presented by Fujikura, the two-day event features a strong West Region lineup headlined by four nationally ranked programs: Western Washington (No. 14), Simon Fraser (No. 24), Chico State (No. 35), and UT Tyler (No. 42). The field also includes Stanislaus State, CSU San Bernardino, CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Monterey Bay, Dominican (CA), Vanguard, Westmont, and Jessup.

Set along the North County San Diego coast, Shadowridge Country Club provides a traditional Southern California test that places a premium on accurate driving, disciplined iron play, and smart course management. With many teams making their first competitive start of the spring, the Fujikura Invitational serves as an early measuring stick as programs begin building postseason résumés.

As title sponsor, Fujikura continues its commitment to high-level competitive golf, supporting collegiate events that showcase emerging talent and reward precision, consistency, and performance. The CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invitational runs February 9–10, with live scoring available throughout the tournament.
