MARICOPA, Ariz. (May 13, 2014) -- Mark Coward hung on to win the 2014 Arizona Senior Stroke Play title at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes.
Coward shot a red-hot 5-under 67 in Monday's first round to share the early lead with Tom Sweigart. And, although he shot 76 in Tuesday's finale, he held on to top Mills Brown and Frank Ellenburg by a shot as they surged.
Ellenburg shot a final-round 72 while Brown shot 74 to give Coward a run for his money.
Swiegart finished fourth with a closing 79.
