AmateurGolf.com is pleased to announce the extension of the Two Man Links Championship series to include a second Cabot property, Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida.
The property, which was formerly known as World Woods, was acquired by Cabot in 2021 and completely reimagined. AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski and his son Lawson played the first 18-hole course twice on opening weekend.
"From the minute we drove through the gate, we could tell we were arriving at a golf destination in the class of Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, and Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley in the U.S.," said Wlodkowski. "It's designed for buddy or gals trips -- once you park your car there is no reason to leave until it's time to go home."
Indeed, the going home part won't be easy. The first 18-hole layout to open the Kyle Franz-designed Karoo Course -- is captivating on all corners. Named for the sound made by a local bird, it begs to be played multiple times. Also ready for play on opening weekend were "The Squeeze" -- a 10-hole executive layout -- and "The Wedge" par three course. "The Roost" will round out the offerings, and unique to Florida, will offer up to 50 feet of elevation change.
