Rachel Heck’s golfing life moves fast. Since recording this podcast she has collected her eighth individual title and her Stanford team shot a record-breaking 50-under par at the Gunrock Invitational.
Heck has ascended to the very top of college and amateur golf, however, her story stretches beyond the golf course. She is enrolled in the Air Force’s ROTC program (Reserve Officers' Training Corps). She details how she balances competitive golf with the ROTC program and how ROTC helps her on the golf course. On March 30th, Heck will tee it up in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur for the second year in a row. She finished in second place last year. We talk about her experience at Augusta last year, what she’s looking forward to this year, and she tells some great stories about playing in that final round under pressure in the 2021 ANWA.
