Luke Colton, Joshua Bai tied for lead at Junior Invitational at Sage Valley

In the girls division, Pimpisa Rubrong takes a commanding lead heading into the halfway point
Joshua Bai and Luke Colton share the lead at the halfway point at 6-under in the boy's division of the 2025 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C.
Bai has carded rounds of 67-71 and was the 18-hole leader, while Colton has shot two rounds of 3-under 69 to get to 6-under. Bai finished runner-up to Bryan Kim in the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur and is currently ranked No. 230 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
Colton, a Vanderbilt commit, is the 2024 Terra Cotta Invitational champion and the 2024 Byron Nelson Junior Championship champion. He also made the round of 16 in the 2024 US Junior Amateur and has three AJGA Invitational top-seven finishes in 2024.
Top junior Miles Russell is in solo third place at 5-under and is only one shot back of the leaders. 12 golfers are within six shots of the lead.
Pimpisa Rubrong shot a second-round 3-under 69 to take a three-shot lead at 5-under in the girl's division.
She has carded rounds of 70-69 to get to 5-under with seven birdies and two bogeys.
18-hole co-leader Aphrodite Deng is in solo second place at 2-under, and Scarlett Schremmer is in solo third place at 1-under.
