Charlie Woods and Kai Trump to compete in Junior Invitational at Sage Valley

The two familiar names will compete in the tournament won by Scottie Scheffler Akshay Bhatia and Asterisk Talley
Suffice it to say there will be extra eyes on the Sage Valley Junior Invitational this year.
According to Brentley Romine of the Golf Channel, Charlie Woods and Kai Trump will be competing at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. The tournament is set for March 19-22 at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C.
According to the report from Romine, Golf Channel obtained the player field via a Golf Genius Link, and Woods and Trump were listed.

Woods helped lead the Benjamin School in Florida to a state title in 2023 and qualified for the 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur. Trump recently announced a verbal commitment to play her collegiate golf at the University of Miami.
According to the official website, Golfweek recognizes the tournament as the #1 junior event in golf. The Junior Invitational welcomes the best junior golfers from around the world to Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina.
Founded in 2011, the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley has become one of the most desired invitations in the world of competitive junior golf. It features 36 of the top junior boys and 24 of the top junior girls competing simultaneously.
Participants have also been privileged to attend special private clinics and events with Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Jason Day, and Brooks Koepka.
Past winners have included Asterisk Talley, Anna Davis, Jackson Van Paris, Akshay Bhatia, Caleb Surratt, Joaquin Niemann, Austin Eckroat and Scottie Scheffler.
