Ting overcame a first round 3-over 75 to come back and win the Championship
Mirabel Ting shot a final round 4-under 68 to chase down the leaders and win the 2023 Women's Orlando International Amateur Championship Orange County National Golf Center, the Panther Lake Course, in Winter Garden, Fla., by three shots.
Ting finished 1-under total and three shots ahead of Monet Chun, who shot 2-over and finished in solo second place.
Ting shot rounds of 75-71-68, consistently improving to move up the leaderboard and surpassing the 36-hole leaders.
Mary Miller and Aphrodite Deng finished T3 at 3-over. Julia Gregg rounded out the top five with a solo fifth-place finish at 4-over.
Ting is a sophomore at Florida State University who transferred from Augusta University last fall season.
Due to inclement weather, the final round was a shotgun start for the field.
LSU star Latanna Stone won the 2021 and 2022 championships, with Virginie Ding winning last year.
