GCAA announces Jack Nicklaus Award finalists across all divisions

The winner of the D1 award will receive an exemption in to the PGA Tour's Memorial Tournament in June

The Golf Coaches Association of America announced the finalists for the 2020 Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year Award presented by Golf.com for Division I through NJCAA on Thursday. The winner of the Division I Nicklaus Award will receive an exemption into the 2021 Memorial Tournament. Here are the finalists: Division I John Augenstein–Vanderbilt Cooper Dossey–Baylor Garett Reband–Oklahoma Sahith Theegala–Pepperdine Davis Thompson–Georgia Division II Dan Bradbury–Lincoln Memorial Vincent Norrman–Georgia Southwestern Max O'Hagan–Florida Tech Elis Svard–Cal State Monterey Bay Zach Zediker– Delta State Division III Emmet Herb–St. Thomas (Minnesota) Jason Li–Carnegie Melon Drew Mathers–Huntingdon Cade Osgood–Southwestern (Texas) Rob Wuethrich–Illinois Wesleyan NAIA Noah Hofman–Ottawa (Arizona) Carl Didrik Meen Fosaas–Keiser Ben Rebne–Dalton State Eli Scott–Coastal Georgia Eric Wowar–Point NJCAA Charlie Crockett–Hutchinson Trey Fessler– Mesa Jon Hopkins–Mississippi Gulf Coast Tom Matthews–Eastern Florida State Jacob Skov Oleseon–Ranger Gabriel Salvanera–South Mountain Winners will be announced at the Memorial Tournament which will be held July 13-19 at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio. Sahith Theegala won the last big college golf award that was announced, taking the Haskins Award as the nation's top D1 college golfer.
