A familiar voice to anchor Augusta National Women's broadcast

His voice is familiar to golf fans but this will be his first broadcast from the hallowed grounds of Augusta National
The ANWA is a 54-hole event that takes place April 3-6. The first 36 holes will be played on Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., before the field is cut to 30 players. Every player in the 72-woman field will play a practice round at Augusta National before those top 30 women compete for the trophy at Augusta National.
The final round, to be played Saturday April 6, will be broadcast live on NBC from noon to 3 p.m. eastern.
“In different ways, Augusta National has captivated all of us who love the game,” Tirico said in an NBC Sports press release. “To see this weekend with the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur and Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals together will undoubtedly inspire young golfers across the country.”
In addition to the final-round coverage on NBC, Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” and “Golf Central” will also offer live updates and coverage from Champions Retreat and/or Augusta National beginning April.
