Mike Sposa played 174 tournaments on the PGA Tour. He earned roughly $1.9 million doing it. He teed it up alongside the best players in the world for parts of seven seasons, posted a T-4 at New Orleans in 2002, and won a Nationwide Tour title in Boise in 1998. Before any of that, he was an All-American at Tennessee, an SEC champion, and a member of the 1991 U.S. Walker Cup team, where he partnered David Duval to a pair of foursomes wins.
On Thursday at Baltimore Country Club, he won the U.S. Senior Amateur.
