UPDATE: March, 2014 -- Well over two years since I attended the Walker Cup in Scotland my ClubGlider is still going strong and looks great after logging literally tens of thousands of miles to more golf resorts than I care to admit. From September, 2011: My new golf club travel bag, Sun Mountain's ClubGlider, arrived just in time for a dream trip to St. Andrews and Aberdeen, Scotland for the 2011 Walker Cup. Its maiden voyage was a 15 hour flight from San Diego to Edinburgh, Scotland on British Airways (via London).

Starting with an extremely well thought out and constructed padded travel bag --with wheels at the lower part of the heavy-duty plastic bottom tray -- the ClubGlider's patented innovation is found at the middle of that molded tray. With an easy pull out, and then down, the ClubGlider's spring-loaded lightweight aluminum wheel assembly pops out like an airplane's landing gear.
