About the tournament
The New York Harbor Cup (NYHC) is a premier collegiate golf tournament launching in 2026, hosted by Rutgers University at the world-class Bayonne Golf Club in Bayonne, New Jersey, just minutes from Manhattan. Set on 150 reclaimed acres along the Hudson River, the exclusive venue is renowned for its breathtaking skyline views and unique ferry access from Lower Manhattan, offering a distinctive links-style test rarely available to college programs.
The inaugural field features nine top NCAA men’s golf programs, including host Rutgers, with competition scheduled over two days (August 31–September 1, 2026). By opening Bayonne’s doors to collegiate golf, the NYHC creates a high-profile early-season showcase that blends elite competition with one of the region’s most iconic and private golf settings.
