San Francisco City 2027 Men's Super Senior

The Men's Super Senior Championship offers a focused age-group contest with a compact match-play draw. Qualifying earns a place in that draw; the title then requires winning a succession of individual matches at Harding Park.

Field and format

Players must be 65 or older with a Handicap Index of 9.4 or lower. A maximum of 48 entrants compete in 18-hole qualifying for 16 match-play places.

2027 playing schedule

Harding Park hosts qualifying March 17, the round of 16 March 18, quarterfinals March 19, semifinals March 20 and the final March 21.

Competing well over several days

Our preparation advice is to build a plan you can repeat: choose manageable targets, carry reliable yardages for your scoring clubs, and allow recovery time between rounds. Ask the organizer about division-specific cart arrangements before making mobility plans.

Harding is a public course with a major-championship pedigree, having hosted the 2020 PGA Championship. Playing a familiar tournament venue in an age-group field is a distinctive part of this entry’s appeal.

The 2026 Super Senior final went beyond regulation: Jeff Thomas beat Dean Prince on the 19th hole. It is a reminder to prepare for a match that can demand one more good shot after 18 holes.

Entry and planning

Entry is $350; an active AmateurGolf.com membership is required separately. Review the registration form before paying. Check your email and the official results page for tee times and pairings.
