San Francisco City Championship
The Women's and Women's Senior Championships bring several competitive paths into one SF City entry. The attraction is both sporting and historical: the women’s championship roll includes Juli Inkster, and the event offers the chance to test your game through qualifying and the changing demands of match play.
The shared field is capped at 80. Women’s qualifying sends the first 16 into the Championship bracket and places 17–32 into the Inkster Flight. Women's Senior is for players 50 and older. Confirm your division selection when entering.
Qualifying is March 12 at Lincoln Park. Women's matches run March 13–14 and 20–21; the Championship final is 36 holes. Senior matches are March 14, 20 and 21. Confirm each round’s course assignment.
Lincoln’s small greens and coastal exposure make distance control valuable. For match play, rehearse decisions as well as shots: when an opponent is in trouble, a sensible target may be more valuable than chasing a flag. Leave room in your travel plans for advancement.
Gianna Singh won the 2026 Women’s Championship, beating medalist Staci Pla 4 and 3. That result illustrates why the knockout stages offer a fresh contest after qualifying.
Entry is $295; an active AmateurGolf.com membership is required separately. Review the registration form before paying. Check your email and the official results page for tee times and pairings.
