Modeled after the Ryder Cup, the Lewis Cup honors one of Northern Ohio’s golfing greats, Hall of Famer Robert C. Lewis Jr. The event brings together the top 12 players available from NOGA's Player of the Year Points Lists, in Championship and Senior Divisions.
The Lewis Cup is not an open-registration event; it is invitation-only. Players must be NOGA members with an active GHIN Handicap Index who compete in at least three NOGA Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series events (Index of 5.4 or lower) during the season, and the top 12 finishers on each of the NOGA Player of the Year and Senior Player of the Year points lists (after the Tour Championship) are invited to fill the Amateur and Senior teams.
