About the tournament

The senior championship of the Northeast Women's Golf Association is a 36-hole age-flighted stroke play championship for NEWGA members. The Northeastern Women’s Golf Association was founded in 1929 to further the advancement of the game of golf, to recognize and develop skilled amateur women golfers, to promote good sportsmanship and friendly rivalry among members, and to foster the best traditions of the game of golf.

How to enter

To enter NEWGA tournaments, players must first join NEWGA by being 18+, a member of a NEWGA-affiliated golf club, and holding a USGA Handicap Index of 27.0 or lower. Registration for specific tournaments is done through the NEWGA website.
