About the tournament
The format for this tournament is 36-holes of stroke
play with no cut after the first day. The field will be
limited to 78 contestants with 46 positions reserved
for professionals and 32 positions reserved for
amateurs.
Eligibility:
- Female amateur golfers with a USGA INDEX of 10.0 or less at the time of registration. Starting in 2021, amateur golfers may reside outside of Maryland and are not required to be a member of the MSGA.
- Female professional golfers
- A player who has reached 50 years of age by the first day of play may opt to play in 1 of 4 categories - Amateur, Senior Amateur, Professional, or Senior Professional. Those choosing to compete in a Senior category will play from a shorter yardage and will not be eligible to win the Overall Championship.
