Dallas Amateur Championship
Since its debut in 2018, the Dallas Amateur Championship has quickly become one of Texas’ premier competitive golf events for amateurs. Held across two iconic courses—Cedar Crest and Trinity Forest—the tournament offers a high-caliber, 54-hole stroke play experience for elite amateurs, with a qualifying round for non-exempt players.
Now recognized as a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event in both the Men’s and Women’s Open divisions, the DAC continues to elevate its status and attract top-tier talent from across the region. As of 2024, the Open and Net divisions welcome all players aged 18 and over, broadening the competitive field while maintaining the tournament’s reputation for excellence.
Divisions & Handicap Requirements:
- Men’s Open: Handicap 6.0 or less
- Men’s Net: Handicap 15.0 or less
Men’s Open Divisions:
- Played over three (3) days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 54-hole competition
- Friday: Cedar Crest Golf Course
- Saturday & Sunday: Trinity Forest Golf Club
Net and Senior Divisions:
- Played over two (2) days – Saturday & Sunday
- 36-hole competition
- All rounds hosted at Trinity Forest Golf Club
