The Smoky Mountain Amateur, established in 2015, is a 36-hole stroke play tournament featuring multiple divisions, including Championship, Open, Senior, Super Senior, as well as Women’s Championship and Open divisions. The event brings together amateur golfers from across the region to compete across a wide range of skill levels and age groups.
As part of the Knoxville Amateur Tour schedule, players earn valuable points toward qualification for the Knoxville Cup, a Ryder Cup-style competition that matches the area’s top amateurs against local PGA professionals.
