About the tournament
The Championship Flight plays 54 holes of medal play and is awarded points from the Alabama Golf Association based on order of finish. The Championship Flight is determined by first-round scores. The lowest 30 and ties will comprise the Championship Flight and the remaining participants will be placed in the Flight Division. The final flight placement will be determined based on the score after 36 holes.
