About the tournament

The California State Fair Junior Championship brings together Northern California's top junior golfers ages 7-18 for one day of stroke play competition at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. Players ages 12-18 compete on the historic Alister MacKenzie course for 18 holes, while ages 7-11 play 9 holes on the Arcade Creek course, with the overall boys champion earning an exemption to the prestigious California State Fair Championship.

Eligibility

Junior golfers ages 7-18 as of August 29, 2026; age 18 may participate if they have not started college prior to the tournament date; JGANC members and non-members accepted

How to enter

JGANC members register online through the JGANC BlueGolf registration system. Non-JGANC members must pay an additional $15 fee, contact Tournament Director Mark Perry (916-955-9323 or markeperry63@gmail.com), and register with a paper entry form; ages 12-18 non-members accepted only if space available after the August 15th deadline.
