amateur players and top 12 PGA
Professionals in San Diego County. All participants
enjoy a spirited competition, team
camaraderie, and experience that must be similar to
the “Ryder Cup”.
Amateur players who earn their way onto the team or are selected as a captain’s pick must identify with the following principles:
- Are representative of San Diego’s top non- collegiate amateur golfers
- Have demonstrated the ability to compete in top level amateur events
- Can balance individual drive with the desire to be part of a team
- Have demonstrated the ability and willingness to represent the game of golf and its values
