About the tournament
36-hole stroke play tournament flighted by
handicap. The objective of the tournament is to
promote amateur golf in the Rio Grande Valley
through a competitive
golf event and the “tournament player” in mind.
Open to amateur golfers with an established Handicap of 12 or less who have not competed in high school or college golf tournaments during the 24 months immediately preceding the first round of the tournament. Members of college or High School golf teams are NOT eligible.
