Birmingham Metro Amateur Championship

The Metro Amateur Championship is the City Championship of Birmingham. There is a Mid-Amateur division (ages 25-49), a Senior division (50-59) and a Super Senior division (60+). If you are 50 and over, but want to play in the Mid-Amateur division you may do so, but must specify this when registering. It is open to residents of Jefferson, Bibb, Blount, Cullman, Shelby, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa and Walker counties. It is a team format (two-man, best ball) over two days. For the Mid-Amateur division the maximum handicap per player is nine, for the Senior division the maximum handicap per player is 14 and for the Super Senior division the maximum handicap per player is 17.
